About the role
You would join a group of volunteers who help to keep the Canal Towpath between the canal basin and the bridge over Peter Callis Way looking good.
What you’ll do
Work depends of the time of year, but may include cutting back overhanging vegetation from the path, cutting back ivy from tree trunks, picking litter, painting bollards, planting bulbs or anything else which will generally keep the towpath accessible and tidy (ish!)
Skills & requirements
No skills or qualifications needed, though you do need to be over 18. The towpath is accessible to wheelchair users. All tools and equipment are provided for volunteers
Where you’ll help
We usually meet on the towpath, by the passage way through from Logan Crescent, MH, LE16 9QT
